Birding at Horicon Marsh with Color in the Outdoors

A sculpture display near the Horicon Marsh Education Center building.

Join us as we bird and explore the visitor center trails to catch all the latest wildlife action at the largest cattail marsh in the U.S. Encompassing 33,000 acres, Horicon Marsh not only offers many opportunities to observe common marshland birds but is often a lure to some of the rarest bird sightings in Wisconsin. Afterwards, we will head over to our friend Christopher Kilgour’s beautiful property from Color in the Outdoors in nearby Mayville for those of you that are interested.

No registration is required. Meet by the front doors at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center located at N7725 Highway 28, Horicon, WI. This is a great time to bird the marsh.
