Join us on August 12 at 9:00 AM as we bird at Cherokee Marsh Conservation Park - South Unit. This was previously scheduled to be held at Lewis Nine Springs eWay but changed due to site conditions and slower birding there.
To conveniently access the park, please park your vehicles along Wheeler Road, right in front of the park entrance.
We are hoping to see early migrating shorebirds as well as summer inhabitants. If time allows, we will then journey a short distance to the picturesque Lake View Hill Park, extending our exploration further.
This event will take place in the open. The terrain will be unpaved but flat. We will walk around 2.5 miles.
