The BIPOC Birding Club of Wisconsin and the KK River Neighbors in Action (resident-based neighborhood group in Pulaski Park) will join together to explore the summer resident birds at Pulaski Park. We will also learn about some improvements made along the Kinnickinnic River that are making this natural area better for people and wildlife. Come for the birding, stay for some coffee and treats and community.

There is parking along 16th Street and we’ll meet on the paved walk at the park near Harrison Avenue and 16th Street.

Please note that there are two Pulaski Parks in the Milwaukee County Parks system. We are meeting at the one on 16th Street in Milwaukee.

What to Expect

We love new birders! As always, birders of all skill levels are welcome and we have child- and adult-sized binoculars available for those who’d like to borrow a pair.
