We can hardly believe that our club is 5 years old! Join us for an event that is part party, part birding, and all joy as we celebrate our wonderful club!
Bring a lawn chair, and bring your family and friends. Let’s see what birds we can find while we enjoy some food and good company. The BIPOC Birding Club of Wisconsin will bring refreshments.
The Urban Ecology Center - Washington Park will provide us with an indoor space for our food and gathering if the weather is not cooperating. If the weather is great, we’ll sit outside. Perhaps we’ll take a walk or two around the ponds which is a great place to see some beautiful nesting birds.
What to Expect and Accessibility
We love new birders! As always, birders of all skill levels and ages are welcome!
We have child- and adult-sized binoculars available for those who’d like to borrow a pair!
Bathrooms are located inside the building.
Since our events are public spaces, it is possible that you may appear in photos. Please notify someone on our team if you prefer not to have your photo taken at an event.
