We are excited to announce our inaugural Milwaukee events!

Part 1 will be held at Havenwoods State Forest from 9-11 am and led by Milwaukee Coordinator Rita Wiskowski. It will be followed by a birding walk along the Milwaukee Lakefront led by Rita and Wisconsin Society of Ornithology Executive Director Jennifer Lazewski, beginning at McKinney Beach, from 11:30 am - 2 pm.

We will begin at Havenwoods State Forest which is located at 6141 N Hopkins St, Milwaukee, WI 53209. We will meet in the parking lot.

Havenwoods State Forest is Wisconsin’s only urban state forest, featuring 237 acres of grasslands, woods and wetlands in the city of Milwaukee. Hike, run, bike and watch wildlife on over 6 miles of trails. Explore the nature center, the forest's ponds, stroll over the 120-foot bridge or find a bench to sit and relax outdoors (Courtesy Wisconsin DNR).

There are no park fees or state parks sticker required!
