🥾 Join Dexter and the BIPOC Birding Club of Wisconsin on Saturday, November 8th, 2025 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM for a hike during the fall bird migration with the Friends of Horicon Marsh.

📗 From 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Dexter will also be signing copies of his brand-new book “Best Little Book of Birds: Birds of the Great Lakes”. Copies will be available for purchase!

Hike and book signing will take place at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center, located at N7725 State Road 28, Horicon, WI, 53032.

What to Expect

  • As always, birders of all skill levels and ages are welcome!

  • We love new birders! We have child- and adult-sized binoculars available for those who’d like to borrow a pair!

  • Dress in layers in case of chilly conditions!

  • Since our events are public spaces, it is possible that you may appear in photos. Please notify someone on our team if you prefer not to have your photo taken at an event.
