Join the BIPOC Birding Club for a special outing & training!

First join us for birding at 8am in front of the Urban Ecology Center of the Menomonee Valley, a great place to enjoy nature and look for migrating songbirds.

Then we'll head back to the UEC at 9:30 for a continental breakfast and a Know Your Rights training by the Milwaukee Turners. The Know Your Rights training is intended to help us work together to fight messages of fear and panic by helping us learn about our rights and how to protect ourselves and each other during law enforcement/ICE encounters.

Feel free to join one or both of these opportunities! Can't join the Know Your Rights in person? We'll have a link that day for folks who want to join virtually. Please be sure to register below!

What to Expect

As always, birders of all skill levels are welcome and we have child- and adult-sized binoculars available for those who’d like to borrow a pair!
